Miniaturized testing machine
Code: 518Product detailed description
The Miniaturized Testing Machine (MTM) for simple tensile testing was developed at COMTES FHT and is designed to quickly verify the mechanical properties of samples printed by additive technology on a 3D printer. The MTM is a compact and mobile device with fast and simple specimen clamping, with which we can measure mechanical properties and evaluate force-displacement and stress-strain curves. Testing can be performed according to ISO/ASTM 52909:2022 - Additive manufacturing of metals - Properties of finished parts - dependence of mechanical properties on orientation and location in powder bed technology. The equipment can be extended with a DIC system, different jaws according to the required specimen geometry and integrated measurement of specimen dimensions before and after testing.
Parameters
- Compact and mobile device
- Loading: monotonic pull
- Dimensions 580 x 110 x 95 mm (l x w x h)
- Load up to 10 kN
- Speed 0.05 -100 mm/min
- Maximum stroke 30 mm
- Strain measurement possible with optical instruments
Other
- Possibility of integrated measurement of sample dimensions
- Interchangeable jaws according to sample geometry
- Strain measurement with external DIC system - virtual extensometer
The functional specimen with the internal designation VGF2100009 was created as part of an internal research project. This project entitled "IVP2006 Advanced Testing and Material Model Development" was funded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT).
